A friend of mine purchased a hunting package for two buffalo cows at a charity auction supporting a local primary school and invited me to join him on the adventure. I had the privilege of hunting with Janeke Hoffman, a professional hunter in South Africa, during a 10-day safari with my wife. From the very beginning, his professionalism, dedication, and genuine passion for hunting were evident.

On a personal note, when I suffered an eye injury from a thorn early in the hunt, he calmly and expertly treated it in the field, saving me a helicopter ride to the hospital. His ability to remain composed and capable in such a situation is a testament to his character and skill.
